Each of the individual layers have been designed with consideration to their Hydraulic Conductivity and Bridging Properties, to assure that the profile as a whole will perform as intended.  By purchasing all three layers through Benedict you can be certain that there will be no issues with particle migration of the individual layers through the profile (which can lead to potential failure of the system and costly removal and replacement).

Offers the essential hydraulic conductivity required for use in biofiltration basins, whilst also having the horticultural properties essential for initial plant strike and maintaining ongoing plant health.

A coarse washed sand with a targeted particle range to assure excellent hydraulic conductivity that is higher than the biofiltration filter media that sits above it. Strike and maintaining ongoing plant health.
