Newcastle Knights are once again proud to announce that Benedict Recycling have re-signed  with the sponsorship family in 2020 as an official partner of the Club.

Benedict Recycling is a market leader in waste recycling and resource recovery, transforming construction and demolition waste into quality building and landscaping products. They pride themselves on providing exceptional recycling services for large scale projects and waste generators, as well as being the go-to recycling facility for Newcastle’s general public and local tradies.

With operations in Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong, Benedict has over 50 years’ experience and is proud to link with the Club.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Newcastle Knights. The community is right behind the team and for Benedict, it’s very important that we support the community’s we’re a part of.” Benedict Recycling Head of Marketing Elke Dupere said.

The Benedict brand will be very prominent at McDonald Jones Stadium in 2020, featuring on the Goal Post and Corner Post Pads and the LED fence at all home matches, as well as on the back of the away jerseys at four important matches.

“Benedict Recycling is a terrific partnership for our Club,” Knights Chief Operating Officer Ross Smart said. “They have been part of our community for many years and with a site right here in Mayfield West, are a key contributor to our local economy as well as being a near neighbour of the Knights.”

“Benedict is committed to sustainability, with the ability to recover up to 95% of the materials they handle through their facilities. They continue to be an important player in a key period of growth for Newcastle and the Hunter, and we are excited they have seen the benefits of continuing to partner with the Knights.”
