How the Construction Pause affects Benedict
Recycling | Quarries | Supply & Delivery
Benedict is committed to adhering to the latest Public Health Orders and we want to communicate how the Construction Pause impacts our operations. We thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to adapt.
Waste resource recovery continues to be an essential service, workers in the waste industry have been declared authorised workers.
Benedict Recycling facilities will be open for all urgent disposal requirements in line with the public health orders. Operations at these sites have been adapted to comply with the public health order requirements.
Our Quarries are classified as Mining and will also remain open. Our operating hours have been adapted.
Benedict Supply & Delivery will still provide deliveries inside the Greater Sydney Region to customers not affected by the current health orders. The supply to customers outside of the Greater Sydney Region will continue as per normal.
To help maintain the safety of both our staff and customers, Benedict is introducing additional Covid-19 safety protocols at our sites. As such, visitors to our sites will be unable to use the shared facilities such as kitchens and toilets until further notice. At some Benedict sites, we will be hiring portaloos for your convenience. We thank you for your cooperation with this safety initiative.
The following business sites are unaffected by the current restrictions, their operations will continue as per normal:
• Benedict Recycling Newcastle
• Benedict Industries at Cowra
• Bowral Waste Centre

1. No deliveries will take place on Saturday during this time.
2. Many quarries are running under reduced hours and are closing early. Afternoon deliveries may be limited and are reliant on the operating hours for the source of the product.
3. Zero contact deliveries are a priority to ensure safe service delivery. Please contact us to Opt-in for Zero Contact deliveries at your soonest convenience. Opt-in for Zero Contact Deliveries here
