Established in 1966, Benedict is an Australian family owned and operated company that has grown from a small haulage contractor, to one of the largest producers and resellers of quarried, recycled and landscape products in New South Wales. Our Menangle Quarry has long been recognised as Sydney’s premier source of alluvial soil as well as sand and soil blends. And excitingly, work has recently commenced to extract its approved additional alluvial resource. This new deposit comprises of diverse loamy sand deposits, characterised by sub-angular particles and the much desired USGA particle size analysis. This development allows Benedict to broaden its product range, including golf green and tee construction root zone mixes. According to Brett Jarvis, Group Operations Manager, “This substantial resource ensures a consistent supply of high-quality products for many years to come.”
In developing this new product range, rigorous internal and external quality testing has been undertaken. Testing through Melbourne’s trusted AGCSA and Civil Test Laboratories ensures the industry that Benedict is able to deliver quality in every tonne.
